Summary

Calderdale College is seeking a qualified and experienced individual to support the progress & development of apprentices across all sector areas in the provision, ensuring they make strong progress and achieve timely success.

As a Progress and Support Tutor, you will work closely with team leaders, training & development officers, and tutors to ensure apprentice’ support needs are met and that they are making progress & remain on track to achieve their learning goals. Experience of working in a support or sector setting is essential. We are looking for someone who is self motivated, committed, and able to work effectively as part of a high performing team.

The role involves supporting apprentices to develop their sector skills, functional & digital skills & the wider skills personal & professional skills. You will provide contextualised maths and English support, work in both classroom and workshop settings & will be a positive role model & ambassador for all apprentices.

Please note that the role will require working across both the main College site and The Engineering Centre.
