Summary

An exciting opportunity has opened up in Waste Services!

We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Centre Supervisor to lead the team at our Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) in Tattershall.

As Centre Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring it operates efficiently and in full compliance with the Environment Agency’s Environmental Permit and our robust Health and Safety procedures. You’ll support the public in disposing of their waste responsibly, while maximising opportunities for re-use and recycling.

You’ll also manage the Re-use Shop at Tattershall HWRC, working closely with the wider Waste Services team on initiatives that promote waste minimisation, recycling, and deliver social value to Lincolnshire residents.

We’re looking for someone who:

Has experience in waste management
Holds or is willing to work towards a Certificate of Technical Competence (CoTC)
Can work independently and lead a team with a positive, proactive attitude
Is confident engaging with the public and promoting environmental best practices
Has experience with site maintenance and can identify and resolve issues early
Is IT literate and comfortable maintaining records and handling data
Has strong communication skills and enjoys working as part of a team
Is physically fit enough to assist with manual handling when needed
