The services of Hays have been retained by our client, the Northern Ireland Housing Executive (NIHE), to recruit a Handyperson based in Portadown. This organisation has more than 85,000 properties and employs 3,000 members of staff throughout NI.
Your new role
Are you a practical, hands-on individual who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly? We're looking for a reliable and skilled handyperson to join our team and help maintain our properties with care and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general repairs and maintenance across our sites
- Address minor plumbing and electrical issues (where qualified)
- Carry out painting, decorating, and basic carpentry
- Assemble furniture, hang pictures, and change light bulbs
- Support seasonal gardening and outdoor upkeep
- Respond to repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
What you'll need to succeed
5+ Years' experience in a similar role
Obtain Basic Access NI
Clean Driving Licence
What you'll get in return
