Summary
Preschool Assistant – Term Time Only
Fixed-term contract until 22 July 2026
We are looking for a caring and reliable Preschool Assistant to join our friendly team.
Hours:
9:10am – 1:10pm
Monday, Wednesday & Friday
(Term time only)
You are also required to have some flexibility to be called upon to cover other staff hours when needed.
The role includes:
Supporting children during play and learning activities
Delivering and supervising snack time and lunch time
Assisting with a range of preschool activities
Helping to create a safe, nurturing environment
Essential & Desirable Criteria:
Experience working with children – essential
Paediatric First Aid qualified or willing to train
Safeguarding training or willing to complete
Warm, patient, and enthusiastic about working with young children
This is a lovely opportunity for someone who is passionate about early years care and wants to be part of a supportive preschool team on a fixed-term basis until 22 July 2026
