Job Overview:
We are seeking IT Deployment Engineers to support a large-scale office move to Endeavour Square. This role involves the physical movement, installation, and setup of IT equipment across multiple floors. Candidates must hold an active Security Clearance (SC) and be physically fit for manual handling tasks.
Location: London: 12 Endeavour SquareDaily Rate: £19.85/hr - PAYE, £25.77/hr - UMBContract Length: 6 MonthsStart Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities
- Transport, move, and distribute IT equipment-including PCs, monitors, peripherals, and network devices-across three floors.
- Unpack, assemble, and position equipment at specified desks or areas.
- Perform basic hardware installation, including:
- Connecting cables
- Setting up docking stations
- Installing monitors and peripherals
- Support device imaging, configuration, and testing under the guidance of the technical team.
- Label, track, and inventory all equipment in line with project standards.
- Remove, organise, and securely dispose of packaging materials.
- Follow all health & safety and manual-handling best practices.
- Collaborate closely with IT team members to ensure smooth, timely deployment activities.
Key Requirements
- Active SC clearance.
- Willingness to undergo Customer Enhanced Clearance.
- Physically fit and capable of undertaking manual handling tasks.
- Ability to follow technical instructions accurately.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Professionalism and reliability in a customer-facing environment
