Bank Holiday & Weekend Work: Must be available to work Monday 4th May (Bank Holiday) and Saturday 9th May
We are working with the Newark and Nottinghamshire Agricultural Society (NNAS) to recruit a temporary admin professional to support their Events and Development Manager and the wider Events team during a busy period leading up to key flagship events. This is an office-based role in Newark.
You will have proven administrative experience, be highly organised, process-driven, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day administrative support across marketing, sponsorship, competitions, trade stands, and operational logistics.
• Handle calls, queries, and correspondence professionally and efficiently.
• Process memberships, competitions, and exhibitor information accurately.
• Prepare and distribute event packs, passes, and information for visitors, exhibitors, and trade stands.
• Support VIP/President programmes, guest management, and event communications.
• Assist with marketing projects including community engagement, PR, and social media.
• Attend meetings, take notes, and follow up on actions.
Requirements:
• Proven administrative experience with strong organisational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
• Positive, proactive, and adaptable approach to work.
• Professional and friendly communication skills.
