Monday to Friday working
£15.50- £16.50 per hour DOE
We are looking for a Sign Maker to join our client who are an established family business with over 40 years experience within the sign making industry. Reporting to the Works Manager / Assistant Works Manager, you will be part of the manufacturing team making signs for their clients. These are made up of small independent businesses to large corporate organisations.
About the role
As a sign maker you will be involved in the manufacturing and assembling stages of the process. You will be working within a team where the main aspects of the role are the following
- Preparation work
- Notching ( Metal sheet cutting)
- Folding
- Wrapping
- Guillotining
- Welding and Fabrication work.
Skills and Experience
It would be an advantage if you have sign making experience or from a background in the below:
- Brake Press Machine
- CNC Router Machines
- Various hand and power tools
- Welding and Fabrication
- Grinders
- Sanding Machines
- Have a good eye for detail
- Be able to read from technical drawings or specifications
- Be willing to learn and show flexibility
- Be a team player with good time keeping.
Mon-Thurs 08:00-16:30 Fri 08:00-15:30
If you have a full UK driving licence this will be beneficial as you may be required to make deliveries to local customers.
