Summary

This is a key role within Cheshire East’s Integrated Front Door team, working in partnership with colleagues and practitioners to provide advice, guidance, and practical support. The focus is on Early Help Assessment (EHA) and Lead Professional (LP) processes - ensuring children, young people, and families receive timely and effective support. By offering clear information and guidance, this role helps practitioners and families navigate early intervention and achieve better outcomes.

About the role:
Work in partnership with colleagues in the Integrated Front Door team.
Provide advice, guidance, and practical support on Early Help Assessment (EHA) and Lead Professional (LP) processes to practitioners across Cheshire East Council and partner agencies.
Offer clear information and guidance to children, young people, and their families regarding Early Help support, assessments, and LP processes.
Support practitioners through coaching, mentoring, and training to improve outcomes for children and young people.
Contribute to service development and policy planning within the Integrated Front Door.

About you:
You have a strong understanding of Early Help principles and processes.
You’ll bring excellent communication skills to build positive relationships with practitioners and families.
You have experience providing advice and guidance to professionals and families.
You’ll be confident in working collaboratively across teams and agencies to achieve the best outcomes for children and families.
You have resilience and the ability to handle sensitive information professionally.

A competitive salary - Between £31,537 per annum - £34,434 per annum (CEC NJC – Grade 7) with guaranteed yearly pay increases!
