Teaching Assistant

Contract: Long-Term, Temp to Perm
We're looking for an experienced and reliable Teaching Assistant to support learning across two primary classes at a welcoming school in the B18 area. If you're confident delivering small group work, supporting the class teacher, and helping pupils reach their full potential, this is a fantastic opportunity to step into a long-term role where your skills will be valued.
This is a varied and rewarding role, perfect for someone who enjoys working flexibly across year groups and building strong relationships with staff and pupils alike.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide support across two classes within the primary phase
- Assist with lesson delivery, group interventions and 1:1 support
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Deliver tailored support to pupils with a range of learning needs
- Work collaboratively with class teachers and the wider team
What We're Looking For:
- A level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent within a related subject
- Recent experience working in a primary school setting
- Confidence working across multiple year groups
- A proactive, flexible, and supportive attitude
- Teamwork skills and good communication with school staff
