We are seeking an experienced Lead Security Supervisor to oversee a team of 8-10 Security Guards across a high profile Edinburgh site.
This is a key leadership role focused on operational delivery, incident response, and maintaining exceptional service standards.
Job Description
Working a 4 on, 4 off days only pattern, you will lead the day shift operation while overseeing overall guarding performance across both day and night teams.
You will also receive full training to support and manage the client’s Security Control Room.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of 8–10 Security Guards across a 24/7 guarding operation.
Ensure daily guarding standards, compliance, and staffing levels are consistently met.
Take ownership of incident management, providing clear command and control when required.
Support, monitor, and escalate issues relating to technical security systems.
Build strong working relationships with the client and internal stakeholders.
Maintain accurate reporting, documentation, and adherence to assignment instructions.
Receive full training to operate and supervise the client’s Security Control Room.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Proven experience leading or managing a site based security guarding operation.
Excellent people management skills with the ability to coach, support, and develop teams.
Strong incident response and decision making capabilities.
Confident communicator with a professional and reliable approach.
SIA Licence (Guarding) essential; CCTV Licence desirable.
Full UK Driver’s License (required in order to use pool vehicle).
