Summary
Clinical Provide specialist psychological assessments and formulations for complex cases using a range of methods, including psychometric testing, structured interviews, and observations. Develop, deliver, and evaluate psychological interventions for children, carers, and families informed by trauma-informed, attachment-based, and neurodevelopmental approaches. Offer specialist consultation and formulation support to social workers, therapeutic practitioners, and carers. Contribute to psychologically informed care planning and multi-agency decisionmaking. Undertake and advise on risk assessment and risk management. Work flexibly across settings to meet the needs of children and families. Maintain high standards of clinical record-keeping in accordance with HCPC standards and HSC policy. Supervision and Training Provide clinical supervision and mentoring to Assistant Psychologists, Psychological Practitioners, and Therapeutic Support Workers. Contribute to the delivery of training for staff and carers on trauma, attachment, and neurodiversity. Participate in regular professional supervision and annual appraisal with the Lead Clinical Psychologist. Maintain and record continuing professional development CPD consistent with HCPC and service requirements.
