We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across our premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all areas are kept tidy, safe, and presentable. Responsibilities
Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors, corridors, offices, and communal areas
Clean and sanitise restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures
Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste appropriately
Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap where necessary
Maintain cleaning equipment in good working order and report any faults or damages
Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Assist with specialised cleaning tasks as required, including window washing or deep cleaning of carpets and upholstery
Adhere to organisational policies on hygiene standards and confidentiality
Qualifications
Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services is preferred
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good physical stamina to perform manual tasks throughout the shift
Reliable with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
