Job Title: Carer/Support worker
Hours per week: 15 hours per week to be worked over a Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. Hours can be discussed further at interview.
Location: Dinmel Maerdy, Corwen, Conwy
Rate of pay: £14 per hour
About me:
I am looking for an experience carer/ support worker for my elderly Mother to support her within her home. She requires support with day to day tasks around the home such as meal preparation, getting her dressed, mobilisation and making sure she is safe within the home and has everything she needs.
Task and duties, to include any or all the following:
To support around the home with some household tasks such as washing and tidying/cleaning
Preparing meals and drinks as required, food hygiene certificate will be required which is fully funded.
Support to get the lady washed and dressed and sat in a chair.
To support with the ladies mobilisation using a Sarahsteady machine. Manual handling training will be required and this will be fully funded.
Personal care and toilet support will be required.
To keep the lady company within the home and help to keep her safe.
To support with getting around the house as required.
There is a call alarm in the house, to use this if necessary. Training will be given around this.
To support with getting dressed.
Any other duties not mentioned but that fall within the scope of this role should be discussed and then mutually agreed.
Undertake any further training, as mutually agreed.

Can work flexibly, adapting to the variable requirements of this role as required.

The role is dependent upon a DBS and 2 references.
