Summary

Level 3 Nursery Practitioner – Coventry
Location: Coventry, West Midlands
Contract: Permanent | Full-Time | Year-Round
Hours: 40 hours per week (Shifts between 7:30am – 6:30pm, Monday to Friday)
Salary: From £26,000 per annum (increasing in April)

About the Role

ACR Recruitment & Training Ltd are delighted to be supporting a well-established and high-quality early years setting in Coventry in the recruitment of a strong, experienced Level 3 Nursery Practitioner.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and confident practitioner to join a professional and supportive team within a year-round nursery environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality, play-based learning and maintaining a safe, nurturing, and stimulating setting where children can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework

  
  

• Support the learning, development, and wellbeing of children aged 0–5

  
  

• Plan and contribute to engaging, age-appropriate activities and observations

  
  

• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health & safety, and hygiene

  
  

• Build strong, professional relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

  
  

• Support daily routines, including mealtimes, personal care, and outdoor play

  
  

• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team environment

  
  

• Maintain accurate records and support children’s progress and development tracking

  
  What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (UK recognised – essential)

    
    

  • Previous nursery or early years experience (strong/experienced candidate preferred)

    
    

  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures

    
    

  • A warm, professional, and child-centred approach

    
    

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

    
    

  • Reliability, flexibility, and commitment to high-quality childcare

    
    

  • Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check

    
    

  • Ability to provide professional references
