Summary


The RoleAs Head of Programme Delivery, you will:

  • Provide senior leadership and strategic direction, contributing to organisational plans, policy and performance.
  • Lead a high performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Build strong relationships across industry, health, social care, academia and government to generate and deliver a robust portfolio of innovation projects.
  • Develop and oversee programme plans, ensuring effective resource, budget, risk, and performance management.
  • Drive continuous improvement, ensuring tools and processes effectively support project and programme delivery.
  • Represent the organisation at events and conferences across Wales, the UK and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify unmet health and social care needs and translate these into focused innovation programmes.
  • Lead end‑to‑end programme and project delivery, from opportunity assessment through to evaluation and benefits realisation.
  • Produce accurate reports, monitor progress, and ensure programmes achieve defined outputs, outcomes and impacts.
  • Coach, mentor and support team members, ensuring strong performance and alignment with strategic aims.
  • Work collaboratively across internal teams to align intelligence, partnerships, communications and economic development activities.

  • Proven experience in programme leadership within health, care, life sciences, innovation or related fields.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills across public, private and academic sectors.
