Summary
We are looking for a Senior Estimator to work in our North West construction business.
Location: Salford or Speke - flexibility for some hybrid working
Hours: 40 Hours per week, Monday to Friday

What will you be responsible for?
As
As a Senior Estimator, you'll be at the forefront of competitive Design & Build tenders across the Education, Healthcare, Defence, MOJ, Aviation, and Life Sciences sectors. Working closely with Planners, Design Managers, and Preconstruction teams, you will develop robust, commercially sound estimates that influence the success of major projects across the North West.
This is a role for someone who brings accuracy, curiosity, and challenge—someone who can interrogate information, assess risk, and develop cost‑effective, innovative solutions that stand out in the market.
Your day to day will include:
-Producing competitive estimates and cost plans for large, technically complex projects , Interpreting tender documentation and presenting clear, concise findings to stakeholders
-Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all pricing information, including subcontractor enquiries
-Working collaboratively with internal teams to question assumptions and drive value
-Coordinating inputs from procurement, technical, and wider preconstruction teams
-Supporting bid management teams to strengthen overall tender submissions
-Identifying risks, opportunities, and alternatives to enhance competitiveness
What are we looking for?
This role of Senior Estimator is great for you if you:
-Hold HND/Degree or equivalent level qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction, or related discipline
-Proven experience tendering high‑value construction projects
-Strong understanding of procurement routes and methodologies
-Experience with 2nd stage tender pricing (RIBA Stage 3 & 4)
-Proficiency in modern estimating software
-Driving License
