Are you a motivated Assistant Site Manager looking for a long-term freelance contract in Nottingham? We are seeking a proactive ASM to support the Lead Site Manager on a high-volume roof replacement scheme.
This is a fast-moving project involving multiple properties per week. You will play a crucial role in keeping the workflow smooth, ensuring safety on the scaffolding, and maintaining high levels of resident satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities-
Subcontractor Coordination: Assisting with the daily management of roofing teams to ensure they hit their targets.

Health & Safety Monitoring: Conducting daily site walks, ensuring all scaffolding is secure, and checking that PPE is worn at all times.

Resident Liaison: Acting as a key point of contact for tenants, addressing any concerns, and ensuring properties are left tidy at the end of each day.

Snagging & Quality: Carrying out pre-completion inspections and ensuring all "snags" are resolved before the final handover.

Documentation: Assisting with site diaries, photographic evidence of works, and health & safety folders.

Experience: Experience in Social Housing (Decent Homes) is highly preferred. Knowledge of roofing or external works is a major plus.

Soft Skills: Excellent "people skills"-you must be comfortable talking to residents and managing trade contractors firmly but fairly.

Transport: A valid UK driving license and your own vehicle.
