About Us:
St Anthony's is a warm and welcoming care home dedicated to providing high-quality care for our residents. We are looking for a Kitchen Cook to join our team and prepare nutritious and delicious meals in line with residents’ dietary needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook meals independently in a busy kitchen environment.
Follow residents’ nutritional requirements, including dietary restrictions and preferences.
Ensure compliance with home policies and procedures.
Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety, following HACCP guidelines.
Keep the kitchen clean and organized, adhering to infection control regulations.
Manage stock levels and assist with ordering food supplies when needed.
Requirements:
Previous experience working as a cook/chef, ideally in a care home or similar setting.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a busy kitchen.
Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations.
Understanding of residents’ nutritional needs, including modified diets.
A positive and professional attitude, with a passion for cooking.
