As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the shop, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting the Shop Manager in all aspects of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the day-to-day running of the shop, ensuring it operates efficiently and profitably.
Provide exceptional customer service, handling inquiries and resolving issues professionally.
Oversee cash handling, balancing, and banking procedures accurately.
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and staff.
Monitor betting activity and ensure compliance with gambling regulations.
Step into the Manager’s role in their absence.
Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in a betting shop preferred but not essential.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Reliable, organised, and detail-oriented.
