Summary
The fellowship will be in all aspects of Head and Neck surgery and the post will be based at Leicester Royal Infirmary. You will take part in a 1 in 7 hot week on-call rota, supervising emergency cases, and ward patients, during the working day, and be expected to help with the training and supervision of new junior doctors (F2 ST2), aswell as take part in Department meetings, research and audit. The ENT Department take an active role in the education of undergraduate medical students at Leicester Medical School and is also concernedwith the teaching of speech therapy students, nurses and Operating Department Practitioners. In addition there are opportunities to be involved in both undergraduate and postgraduate simulation.
