Summary

To be the first point of contact for patients over the telephone, digitally and face to face at the Reception desk. Book appointments, provide information, give test results and signpost patients to appropriate services. To act as a first point of contact for patients and to represent the practice in a polite, professional and caring manner. To have a general knowledge of the processes and procedures within the practice in order to advise patients relating to any and all enquiries. To be able to inform patients of test results. Register new patients. To action patient prescription requests and liaise with Medicines Management Team To signpost patients to other services both internally and externally To be familiar with the computer system in order to be able to carry out the duties outlined. Filing patient files which includes manual handling. Skills Enjoys telephone work, problem solving and helping people. Good communication Fluent English speaking Computer literate Flexibility Hard Working Resilient
