Summary
A Finance Business Partner required for this national children's charity based in the West Midlands - our client is seeking an interim Finance Business Partner to join their Children's Services Finance team and help shape the future of care and support for young people in the area. Seeking a qualified accountant with significant Finance Business Partnering experience for this is interim role opportunity - the role is also available on a permanent basis for the right individual - you will join an organisation making a difference in the lives of children and families in the West Midlands.
About the role: Reporting to the Head of Finance this role will be responsible for the day to day management of the Payments Team, production of Budget Monitoring information, ensuring that all budget holders are fully briefed on their financial performance and ensuring that all funding streams are maximised for the Trust.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for
- The provision of financial information including monthly management accounts and forecasts, advice, and guidance.
- The annual budget setting and business planning processes.
- The review, development and ongoing maintenance of business processes and systems control functions within Oracle financials.
- To maximise the income generation of the Trust
- The management of the payments team.
- To lead the development and application of Financial Regulations and Procedures.
We are looking for someone:-
- To be qualified to CIMA/ACCA/CIPFA level.
- Have strong excel skills.
- Prior experience in the management of staff would be beneficial.
- Be passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people.

Working patterns: 37 hours per week Monday to Thursday, 9am - 17:30 and Fridays 9am -17:00. Hybrid working (minimum of 2 days in the offices based in Oldbury)
