Summary
We’re looking for a Multiskilled Carpenter to join our Fire Safety Team, working across Swansea and surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional with a passion for quality craftsmanship and safety. You’ll be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining fire doors and associated fire safety works in residential and commercial properties. About the Role
As a Multiskilled Carpenter, you will:
Install, repair, and maintain fire doors and frames to meet safety regulations.
Conduct fire door surveys and identify necessary repairs or replacements.
Carry out fire stopping works using approved materials and techniques.
Work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality results.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
Has proven experience as a carpenter or joiner.
Holds NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry and Joinery (or equivalent).
Has strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
Possesses a valid UK driving licence and will undertake a DBS check.
We welcome previous experience working as:
Carpenter, Joiner, Fire Door Installer, Maintenance Operative, Shopfitter, or similar roles with transferable skills.
