What You'll Do (And Why It Matters):

As a Support Worker, you'll be the cornerstone of support, providing both physical assistance and emotional reassurance, both within our registered care homes and out in the vibrant local community. Every day is different, and you'll play a vital role in:
• Empowering Independence: Assisting with daily living activities in a caring and respectful manner.
• Personalized Care: Implementing individualized care plans that truly cater to each person's unique needs.
• Creating a Haven: Fostering a supportive, safe, and positive environment within our care homes.
• Building Connections: Communicating effectively with the people we support, their families, and healthcare professionals.
• Facilitating Adventures: Supporting individuals to attend appointments, outings, and engaging activities.
• Team Collaboration: Working alongside a dedicated care team to ensure the holistic well-being of everyone we support.
• Essential Support: Providing assistance with personal care or medication for those who require it.
• Seamless Operations: Utilizing IT systems for essential documentation and reporting.

This is a dynamic role that requires flexibility, as support is provided around the clock, 365 days a year. You'll work a variety of shift patterns, including early (7 am – 3 pm) and late (2 pm – 10 pm) shifts, which will include weekdays, alternate weekends, and some Bank Holidays.
