Summary

A full-time Project Worker in a Young Persons Supported Housing Service in Merthyr Tydfil. You will be required to work predominantly Monday – Friday, with flexibility required for the service needs.

About the role

This is a Project Worker role based in our Young Persons Supported accommodation Service, Merthyr Tydfil. Working with the Manager, we have a team of Scheme Support officers and Project Workers, providing 24/7 Support to our diverse group of young customers.

Working in a team, you will provide support to a range of young people (16-35) with various needs. As part of the service providing emergency accommodation, it also helps our customers gain independence through developing tenancy management skills, to help equip them for independent living.

Skills and Experience Needed

Relevant work experience and knowledge of issues relating to vulnerable people is essential.

A driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for the role.

Pay and Pensions -

£26,072.00
Sleep-in rate: £62.64 per 8 hour shift
Pension Choices:
Defined Contribution (DC) Scheme with matched contributions up to 10%. Or,
Defined Benefit (DB) 1/80th of final salary for every year of service.

Time off and Flexibility -

26 days holiday, pro rata entitlement plus Bank holidays. Rising to 27 days after 1 years service or cash equivalent of 1 days’ annual leave.
Maternity & Adoption Leave: 20 weeks
Paternity Leave: 3 weeks
