Summary

We're looking for a Facilities Co-ordinator with the skills to keep the North East Wales portfolio properties of Chirk Castle and Erddig in tiptop condition and running smoothly for all the people who visit and love the place.
37.5 hours a week. Mostly working Monday- Friday with occasional weekends.

What it's like to work here
You'll be part of the North East Wales Portfolio which consists of Chirk Castle and Erddig Hall & Gardens. You'll report to the Facilities Manager and work as part of a small and friendly facilities team, across both properties and alongside the wider property teams, to ensure smooth running of the portfolio.
Chirk Castle is a Grade 1 Listed Castle which welcomes over 180,000 visitors a year. Built in 1282, the Castle comprises of a 5.5 acre manicured Lawn, clipped yews and herbacious borders including a 480 acre park land estate, outbuildings, residential, and holiday properties. The castle is located in the village of Chirk, 10.3 miles south of Wrexham.
Erddig is a Grade 1 listed Mansion built in 1684, located just 2 miles south of Wrexham and welcomes over 160,000 visitors each year. The property consists of formal gardens, 1200 acre estate, outbuildings and residential properties. There is always something to keep everyone busy.
What you'll be doing
As the Facilities Co-ordinator, you’ll be making sure that the NE Wales portfolio operates as it should, by running an efficient, effective and flexible facilities service. You’ll help the property team to meet their goals by keeping standards high. You’ll be helping with maintenance and repairs (reactive, as well as planned and preventative), cleaning and caretaking, the presentation of public areas and visitor facilities (including car parks and grounds), preparing meeting rooms and co-ordinating deliveries and collections.
