Summary
A part-time (18.5hrs), permanent Manager for our Floating Support Service in Newport. As this is a part-time role you will be given opportunities to discuss your work pattern at interview stage.

About the role
This is a Manager role for our Lighthouse 4 Project based in Newport City centre. The Lighthouse 4 Project delivers housing related support to people who are struggling to maintain their tenancy in the city of Newport. This is a service which supports individuals with their housing needs and issues, aiming to prevent homelessness and to ensure that these individuals maintain their home and independence.
As a Leader, you will support and inspire your team to deliver services that enable our customers to improve and make positive changes.
Day to day duties:
Oversee the running of the service
Be responsible for the annual budget and monitoring the service’s income
Ensure that advice is given on welfare rights, permanent housing options and other associated information according to the needs and wishes of the clients.
Ensure that clients receive appropriate advice
Monitor the service and produce and amend procedures as appropriate
Build relationships and liaise with local neighbourhoods, businesses, commissioners, and council
Skills and Experience Needed:
Previous experience in a support environment
Good understanding of leadership and management
Produce concise, accurate written reports
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with customers, staff and community partners
Knowledge of homelessness issues Ability to network by working in partnership with external agencies
Driving licence and access to a car

£31,899.00 FTE
Pension Choices:

Paternity Leave: 3 weeks

Sick Pay, rising with length of service up to 6 months full pay after 4 years.
