Summary
HMP Portland is a historic prison set in a beautiful coastal location on the Isle of Portland. The prison houses adult males, alongside a relatively large number of young adults, and has a strong rehabilitative focus.
The post holder will join an existing, experienced team and oversee the roll out of the new prison service accredited programme Building Choices.
The successful candidate will benefit from being part of the Dorset forensic psychology team, which is a supportive team of people with different backgrounds and experience who are all passionate about rehabilitation and working together to ensure those in our care lead fulfilling nonoffending lives. It is a team that prides itself on fostering a cohesive environment where every member is supported to thrive.
