Responsibilities
Designing innovative and seasonal menus that reflect culinary trends.
Overseeing food preparation and cooking techniques to maintain quality standards.
Coordinating with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflows and collaboration.
Monitoring stock levels and ordering supplies as necessary to keep the kitchen well-stocked.
Training and mentoring kitchen personnel to enhance their skills and efficiency.
Ensuring compliance with health regulations and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Plating dishes elegantly and ensuring food presentation meets our restaurant's standards.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a high-quality restaurant.
In-depth knowledge of various cooking styles, techniques, and cuisines.
Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate staff.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and kitchen cleanliness standards.
Culinary degree or certification from a recognised institution is preferred.
