Summary
Rapier Employment are currently looking for an Operations/Transport Administrator for a 6 month maternity leave cover.
- Job Title: Operations/Transport Administrator
- Location: Abingdon
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00 (40 hours per week). Some flexibility on start times
- Salary: £28,000 per annum (pro rata)
- Contract: Up to 6 months maternity leave cover
Key responsibilities:
- Record meeting minutes and action points with accuracy
- Update schedules per direction of Operation leaders
- Responsible for raining and monitoring all Operations Purchase Orders (inc. Freight, Transport expenses, supplies etc.) and liaise with finance team on any issues
- Report to upper management on stock levels, issues, etc.
- Update and maintain key operational management systems, including all digital and hard copy documentation
- Update operational dashboards and boards as requested
- Liaise with transport suppliers regarding breakdowns/defects
- Update systems with relevant defect sign off paperwork
- Act in a professional manner at all times, including when communicating with Vendors, demonstrating the company values
Experience & skills required:
- Previous admin experience required
- Good customer service skills
- Attention to detail
