What skills and experience we're looking for
We are excited to announce the development of a new satellite site, opening after Easter 2026. This provision will offer up to 72 secondary places for boys and girls, introduced through a phased build-up over three years. Joining the team at this new site provides a unique opportunity to help shape a brand new provision from the ground up, creating a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment for students from day one.
We are looking for a friendly, professional, and organised Receptionist to join our team at our brand new satellite site, supporting the smooth running of the school office and contributing to a welcoming, efficient environment for staff, students, parents, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome and assist visitors, parents, and pupils, ensuring a friendly and professional reception experience.
• Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, directing enquiries promptly and appropriately.
• Maintain accurate records and databases, including attendance, visitor logs, and safeguarding information.
• Provide administrative support to the Head of Centre and wider school team, including letters, reports, and scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding and data protection policies, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Key Requirements:
• Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role ideally within an educational setting.
• Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a calm and positive manner.
• Is highly organised and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
• Has strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and administrative systems.
• Is committed to supporting the ethos of an SEMH school, showing empathy, patience, and professionalism at all times
