Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

Science isa highly successfulsubject at The Wavell School. Results are well above the national average with over 80% of students gaining at least two standard passes inScienceand with 30% of students studying three separate Sciences. The Science Faculty occupies seven modern laboratories with a preparation room, staffroomand resources areas. The team is ably supported by highly experienced technicians. There isa very strongand supportive team spirit.

We are looking to appoint adynamicclassroom practitioner who:

• has excellent subject knowledge

• is resilient and resourceful

• sets a high standard and who inspires students to meet this

• makes learning exciting, leading tohigh levelsof engagementand exam success

• thrives within a team and who enjoys collaborative working

• ideally can teach all Science subjects through to GCSE, although there can be some specialism at KS4 (all considered)
