Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for a full or part time, committed and enthusiastic Teacher of Physics to join a dedicated and well-resourced department with strong results at all levels. The successful candidate will be required to teach Physics to KS3 and KS4, along with either Chemistry and/or Biology to KS3. The ability to teach Physics at KS5 would also be desirable. This role is suitable for an ECT.

The Piggott School Science Department:
• red ALPS (2) for all GCSE sciences – 2025
• achieved (100%) grade 5+ in all GCSE single sciences – 2025
• achieved (93%) grade 4+ in GCSE science double award – 2025 (33% grade 9-7)
• achieved (73%) A*-C in A Level Physics – 2025 (33% grade A*/A)
