We are recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join our growing team. The job will involve setting up new members on our various systems and supporting them in their journey with us. You will be involved in their whole financial journey including receiving and responding to emailed queries. We also undertake one off admin projects to compile data and you would also be helping to produce reports in Excel. There will also be some entering of information to our accounting software (QuickBooks). We will work as a team of five with everyone helping and supporting where needed.

Key information

• Initially, we are offering 10 hours a week - but there is the potential for this to increase quickly for the right person.
• It is essential that you are available to work at least three hours between 9am and 2pm on a Friday. The rest of the hours can be worked according to workload and your personal situation; however, this must include one other day.
• The role is home-based, and you will need to ensure that you have the space available to work on a computer with two screens.
• You must live near to GL12 8 - to allow for any in-person training/support and to meet with the rest of the finance team.

We are looking for someone who has good initiative and is comfortable working remotely, but also asking for support when needed. You will need good general admin skills; the addition of any bookkeeping experience would be beneficial. Having excellent computer skills included Excel is a necessity.

The Practice Rooms is not a big corporate organisation, we treat all our staff and members as individuals, and are a friendly, mindful and generous company to work for. If you think you could fit into our organisation, and this job, then please apply by email, including your CV and a covering letter about you. Please advise if any notice period is required to start with us.
