Job Description
- Service – Cooking breakfast for guests in a friendly and professional manner. Ensure that guests’ needs and requests are efficiently and effectively addressed
- Inventory and Cost Control – Monitor and manage stock levels, sensible approach to ordering supplies
- Health and Safety Compliance – Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and food safety protocols/policies. Create an environment that has safety embedded in the culture
- Budget and Financial Management – Develop and manage kitchen budgets, report on financial performance and implement any cost savings required without impacting delivery of excellence
- Compliance and Documentation - Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and food preparation processes and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Customer Service - Provide excellent service by being attentive to guests’ needs at every point on their customer journey. Answering questions and addressing any concerns or issues in a friendly manner
- Cleanliness - Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas
Qualifications
A strong understanding of food hygiene and allergen controls
Ability to cook and present foods to a high standard
Be competent to order goods as needed
Have confidence to be able to complete company bookwork
