Your new role
- Prepare supplier payment runs and ensure payments are processed correctly.
- Help manage the finance inbox and handle basic accounts payable queries.
- Maintain accurate financial records relating to trading activity, expenses, budgeting, and P&L.
- Carry out basic bookkeeping duties across multiple entities.
- Prepare routine month‑end journals such as accruals and prepayments.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and reconciliations.
- Review and enhance financial processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Provide general support to the Finance Lead on budgeting, forecasting, and project work.
- Help ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal control frameworks
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related numerate discipline.
- Experience in a similar Finance Role (Incl. Internships, Sandwich years etc.)
- Strong Excel or data‑handling skills; familiarity with Python or SQL beneficial but not required.
- Interest in quantitative finance or technology‑driven trading environments.
- Progress toward ACA/ACCA/CIMA
