They provide practical support, safe accommodation, advice, and guidance to help individuals and families rebuild their lives. The organisation also works closely with local services and the wider community to create safer, stronger communities.

Are you the right person for the job?
Our client is looking for a reliable, organised, and compassionate woman who can maintain high standards of cleanliness and comfort. You will:
• Have experience in cleaning and housekeeping
• Be organised and able to manage inventories and stock
• Have an eye for detail and a commitment to hygiene
• Be flexible and willing to cover during holidays, sickness, or periods of high demand
• Communicate effectively with staff to support the smooth running of the refuge
• Work in line with confidentiality, safeguarding, and Health & Safety policies
• Promote equality, anti-discriminatory practice, and high standards of care
What will your role look like?
• Clean and prepare refuge flats between residents to ensure they are ready for new admissions
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all living, working, and communal areas
• Purchase household items and equipment, manage inventories, and keep stock organised
• Report and/or organise maintenance and repairs as required
• Undertake regular cleaning tasks, including windows, doors, skirting boards, ovens, and toilets
• Ensure good communication with support staff to manage accommodation, equipment, and resources effectively
• Keep accurate records related to housing management
• Promote a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
• Comply with Health and Safety, confidentiality, and safeguarding policies at all times
• Attend meetings, supervision, and training events as required
• Be flexible to cover during holidays, sickness, or periods of high demand
• Work in line with company policies, promoting equality, anti-discriminatory practice, and high standards of care
