Summary
St Matthews CofE is a one form entry school located in West Wimbledon. We are looking for a Caretaker to join our friendly team as our current caretaker is due to retire after 10 years!This is a part-time role of 25 hours a week during the school term. With 3 weeks to be worked throughout the school holiday.The daily hours are 7:00am to 12:00pm Monday to Friday. Ideally we are looking for someone who comes from a building or premises background. Maybe you are an experienced trade person looking to wind down but want to keep a steady income, or you are looking for a role that allows you to do other jobs in the afternoon. The key attributes that you must demonstrate are pride in all tasks that you do and a willingness to contribute to all areas of busy school life.Whoever is chosen for this role will need to be physically fit and have a common sense approach to all works that need to be completed. You will also need to be flexible to meet the needs of the school, combining planned and regular tasks with the day-to-day running of the school.
