Job OverviewWe have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Achievement Support Assistant to supervise and care for pupils in our FS2 setting. Contract and Salary Details:Hours: 35 hours per week, term time only, plus 5 trainings (195 days)Grade: 6, Scp 14-19, £24,110 - £26,168 per annum (actual salary)Job RequirementsThe successful candidate will:Have a full and relevant qualification to work within an Early Years setting. Maintain and follow all EYFS statutory guidance and school EYFS policies, being instrumental in their updating and development.Be involved fully in parental engagement and in activities such as parents as partners, planning relevant activities where needed.Ensure planning, observations and profiles are completed to the school’s expected standard at all times.Be responsible for maintaining the tidiness and health and safety requirements of the EYFS unit.Maintain records of administered medicine and administer appropriate medication in accordance with the school’s policy.Attend all EYFS planning and team meetings as directed.Undertake PPA cover.Promote good pupil behaviour, dealing promptly with conflict and incidents encouraging pupils to use set strategies to support independence.Provide effective support to maximise attainment and accelerate the progress of individuals and groups of pupils.Assist in the monitoring and marking of pupils’ responses to learning activities, making use of the school’s tracking data, completing accurate records and reports.
