Summary

Plan and deliver recreational activities tailored to diverse interests, abilities, and age groups. Organise and support community visits, ensuring safe, enjoyable, and accessible experiences. Develop and manage a calendar of events that promotes social engagement, learning, and fun. Collaborate with clients, families, and community partners to identify needs and co-create meaningful programs. Ensure inclusivity and accessibility in all activities, adapting approaches to meet individual preferences. Drive wheelchair-accessible vehicles to support safe and comfortable transport for clients. Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, gathering feedback to continuously improve offerings. Maintain records and reports on participation, outcomes, and resource use To effectively communicate using a variety of styles that demonstrates the values and behaviours of STEPS. To communicate with people clearly and in a manner and at a level and pace appropriate to their abilities, preferences and beliefs. To develop effective relationships with clients, carers, staff, suppliers and others as from time to time may be required. To use all resources responsibly being mindful of the implications of your decisions. To be responsible for day-to-day workload allocation, interacting with the STEPS team as appropriate. To review requirements for stock/equipment, and feedback recommendations to the SMT.
