Were recruiting for an Emergency Call Handler / Incident Response Specialist to support advanced vehicle operations in real time. You'll be the calm, decisive voice behind the scenes, helping resolve complex, fast-moving situations where safety is non-negotiable.
This role suits people from 999 / emergency services, control rooms, call handling, dispatch, or high-pressure operational environments who want something different without losing the seriousness or purpose of their work.
What you'll be doing: Emergency Call Handler / Incident Response Specialist
Providing real-time guidance during complex and unusual incidents
Supporting vehicles through restricted routes, obstructions and unexpected scenarios
Monitoring behaviour and stepping in where safety could be compromised
Making quick, balanced decisions under pressure
Communicating clearly during dynamic situations
Learning from incidents to help improve future responses
What were looking for: Emergency Call Handler / Incident Response Specialist
Minimum 1 year experience in emergency call handling, control room, dispatch or similar
Strong de-escalation and decision-making skills
Calm under pressure with excellent attention to detail
Confident communicator with a safety-first mindset
Comfortable working with multiple systems and new technology
Full UK driving licence with 3+ years driving experience and a clean record
Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation, including nights and holidays
