Summary
We’re looking for a proactive and well-organised disrepair coordinator to join our team and help manage the legal and operational side of property disrepair and environmental health hazard claims.
You’ll be the first point of contact for formal property disrepair notifications, responsible for managing cases from start to finish in close collaboration with the Disrepair Surveyor and support teams. Your role will ensure that Bromford responds to these cases effectively, within statutory timescales and in line with the Housing Disrepair Protocol.
This position plays a vital role in maintaining the quality and compliance of our homes while protecting customer wellbeing and upholding legal obligations.
Join Bromford, part of Bromford Flagship, and be part of a leading housing provider delivering place-based, community-focused services across the Midlands and South West — backed by the scale, stability, and ambition of the Bromford Flagship group.
What we're looking for
We’re seeking someone with both technical and legal awareness of housing disrepair, ideally with experience in managing similar caseloads. You’ll bring:
-
Good understanding of disrepair legislation and the Housing Disrepair Protocol
-
Experience in property repairs and maintenance service delivery
-
Familiarity with landlord and tenant law, including leaseholder consultation
-
Strong communication and relationship management skills, particularly when liaising with legal professionals
-
Ability to interpret and apply legal terminology to casework
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general IT/data analysis skills
-
A collaborative and solution-focused mindset
-
Legal experience (preferred)
Due to the nature of the role, a Basic DBS check will be required.
Closing date for applications: 6th February 2026
