What you'll do

The College is looking for an experienced café manager to manage our 2 catering outlets at our wonderful & historic Adams building , based in the centre of the Lace Market.
You will be passionate about the service of food, enthusiastic about developing a team, but most of all ensure that our learners and staff receive a high quality food and beverage offer throughout their day. Experienced in a fast paced customer orientated café environment, you will have proven experience of managing and developing a team to reach their potential. You will manage and supervise the catering team to deliver exceptional service.

Key tasks:

  • Develop and implement schedules and procedures to make the service
  • Monitor catering standards and ensure compliance with food safety standards
  • Manage stock levels and order catering supplies
  • Seek out new innovative menu items
  • Provide training and support to your team

Who we're looking for

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Above all a flexible approach.
  • Previous experience of a catering management role
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Knowledge of health & safety, and food safety management
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
