Summary
Would you like to live and work on the Yorkshire coast, with access to beaches, moors and towns?
We are looking for a qualified Physiotherapist to join our Stroke and rehab team at Bridlington Hospital.
We are a supportive team with opportunities to work with colleagues across a number of specialties, but we are currently looking for someone to dynamically lead and promote Physiotherapy within this specialist area. You will have the close support of the Advanced Clinical Specialists within the team, and access to our wider AHP colleagues both on site and across the Trust.
We are keen that our staff have the opportunity to work and develop across all the 4 pillars of practice, and we have a robust structure of supervision, training and advancement.
This post will provide you the opportunity to work with patients post stroke and also general rehab involving neurology, amputees, surgery, falls and frailty. You will be a part of a dynamic team that uses evidence based practice to ensure patient care and support clinical development. The majority of the work undertaken will be in an inpatient setting, but also requires working in the community to support discharges.
There is also an option to support the respiratory on call rota, we can assure you that we run an excellent practical and simulation based on call training program for Physiotherapists, and bite sized practical training sessions are available throughout the year.
Interviews for this vacancy will be held face to face only at Bridlington Hospital. Date to be confirmed.
We are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist who has either some experience, or is keen to develop their skills in this area.
You will have the chance to work alongside a supportive MDT, with the need to be able to assess in an effective and timely manner in the rapidly paced environment but will receive robust supervision and training.
You will have opportunities to support junior staff and students, as well as drive and lead in service development projects and quality patient care.
