Summary

Neway International are seeking a Business Support Assistant C – Admin & Clerical to join our client based with Wrexham County Borough Council.

Location: 82 Rhosddu Road, Wrexham, LL11 2NP
Hours: 22.5 per week (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday – slight flexibility available)

The Role
The Business Support Assistant C will provide essential administrative and clerical support to the Children’s Social Care team. This role ensures the smooth running of daily operations, supporting practitioners and managers with accurate record‑keeping, communication, and general office duties. The postholder will contribute to efficient service delivery and help maintain high standards of compliance and organisation.

Key Responsibilities
Provide general administrative and clerical support to the Children’s Social Care team.

Manage incoming calls, emails, and enquiries, ensuring timely and professional responses.

Maintain accurate records, databases, and documentation in line with service requirements.

Support the preparation of reports, correspondence, and meeting materials.

Assist with scheduling, diary management, and coordination of meetings.

Process and update information on internal systems, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.

Handle filing, scanning, photocopying, and other routine office tasks.

Liaise with internal teams and external partners as required.

Support the wider team with ad‑hoc administrative tasks to ensure smooth service delivery.

Candidate Requirements
Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.

Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.

Good attention to detail and accuracy in record‑keeping.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems.

Professional, reliable, and committed to supporting high‑quality service delivery.
