Summary
The drivers are responsible for the safe transit of dogs to and from Woof n Wag Behavioural Centre within the local areas of Letchworth, Baldock, Stotfold, Hitchin and Arlesey.
Requirements:
Must be a confident driver and comfortable driving a variety of vehicles including a Mercedes Sprinter.
You must be respectful and trustworthy with customers property, the safety of their dogs and obeying all road traffic law.
You must be extremely reliable, friendly and have good initiative and adaptability.
Be able to follow instructions and plan routes accordingly using navigation applications to determine the best routes, considering traffic, construction, and weather conditions to avoid delays.
You will be responsible for Vehicle Daily inspections, ensuring they are always fuelled and ready to go, weekly cleaning of the fleet and reporting any issues to management.
Client Interaction: Excellent communication skills to be able to interact with clients in a professional and friendly manner, providing help and assistance and ensuring a positive experience for the dogs.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of passengers, pedestrians, and other road users.
Administrative Tasks: Fulfil administrative needs where required. Training will be provided for using our internal systems.
Essential Qualifications
A full clean UK Driver's License
Must be over 18.
Experience: Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is often preferred but not essential. Training will be provided.
Strong verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
The hours are from 7.30am to 9.30am then 4.30 to 6pm. Hours can vary, you may finish early or later at times.
