About Us
We are a small, family-run e-commerce business based in Birkenhead, specialising in natural rugs, coir matting, sheepskins, cowhides, and some custom-made products.
The team currently consists of two people (Director and E-Commerce Manager). We are expanding quickly following new acquisitions, and our day-to-day operations have grown to the point where we now need reliable, practical support in the warehouse.
The Role
This is a temporary 2-month contract, working 9:30am–4:00pm, Monday to Friday, with strong potential to become permanent following review.
You’ll work closely with the E-Commerce Manager, helping keep the warehouse organised and ensuring customer orders are picked and packed accurately from within a warehouse and always to a high standard.
This is a hands-on, physical role involving regular lifting, bending, standing, and handling bulky natural materials. In a small team, priorities can change daily, so flexibility and willingness to take direction are essential. An Efficient Working Pace, excellent Time Management and Initiative is vital to ensure that you are on task and jobs are picked up and completed quickly, to avoid backlogs and delays.
Core Responsibilities
Picking and packing customer orders (rugs, coir, sheepskins, cowhides, samples)
- Selecting and packing material samples
- Daily warehouse clean-down and organisation
- Stock checks and receiving deliveries
- Ordering packing supplies
- Daily use of Google Sheets, Excel, and Word / Google Docs
- Training provided on ShipStation and Airtable
Accuracy, care, and attention to detail are more important than raw speed.

Your CV should show reliability, experience with Sheets / Excel / Word, and evidence of pride in your work. CVs without clear evidence of reliability or basic computer use will not be progressed.
E-commerce evolves and changes quickly and we’re looking for someone who can rise to those challenges and adapt. Should the role evolve over time,training will be provided to ensure that you continue to grow and develop in your new working environment.
Bonus Skills (Not Required)
Small warehouse, picking & packing, or customer service experience
Additional computer skills (product listings, basic admin)
Selection Process
1. Initially a short phone interview (5–10 minutes)
2. In-person practical interview including:
- A simple practical task
- A short task using a computer system
