Summary

About the role

You will be responsible for leading and managing multiple projects that support our Risk Management Strategy, providing expert advice and actionable insights to the business, and driving meaningful change across the organisation.

You will be responsible for

  • Act as a Risk Business Partner for a portfolio of stakeholders, ensuring accurate risk identification and assessment through review and challenge of risk registers.
  • Facilitate risk discussions and workshops with senior leadership to support informed decision-making and identify emerging risks.
  • Prepare Risk Management Committee papers for Board, Audit, and Executive meetings.
  • Support the development and implementation of Risk Control Assessments (RCA) and risk methodologies.
  • Create and deliver training materials to upskill the business and Group Audit team.
  • Coordinate the Risk Community of Practice to drive collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Embed new technologies, including automation, continuous improvement, and data analytics, to enhance risk insights.
  • Lead change projects and apply design thinking to improve Group Risk and Audit processes.
  • Commit to continuous learning about the business and industry, acting with integrity and in line with our Business Code of Conduct.

You will need

  • 2–3 years’ experience in risk management
  • Proven project and change management skills
  • Strong business acumen and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent communication skills with credibility at all levels
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of the retail sector (beneficial)
