Job Summary

Are you looking for a flexible role in finance where you can make a difference? We are seeking a Finance Assistant to join our busy school support team. This is a fantastic opportunity to use your skills to support the team with delivering a high-quality service to schools.

What you’ll do:
• You’ll support the team in delivering the Finance Service Level Agreement (SLA) to schools
• Monitor expenditure and provide financial information on grant funding
• Assist in the administration of the sickness and maternity compensation schemes.
• Complete journal transfers
• Provide general support across the team and to schools.


What we’re looking for:
• 5 GCSE’s including English and Mathematics A to C or equivalent.
• AAT qualification (desirable)
• Experience of working in a finance environment
• Strong IT, organisational and communication skills
