Summary


The Cavendish Square Group brings together London’s ten NHS mental health trusts to drive collaboration and innovation across the capital. We are seeking an Associate HR Director – Projects to lead strategic workforce initiatives, focusing on reducing variation in bank and agency medical expenditure. The postholder will work with NHSE to collate and share information on fill rates for resident doctors posts, they will also identify the range of agency and bank rates and recommend ways forward to reduce variation.

You’ll work closely with Chief Medical Officers, Chief People Officers, Finance Directors, and NHSE colleagues, providing senior HR leadership and delivering practical solutions to workforce challenges.

We’re looking for a senior HR leader with MCIPD or equivalent experience, strong analytical and financial skills, and a proven track record of delivering change in complex organisations.

This is a unique opportunity to shape workforce strategy across London’s mental health services and make a real impact.



· Work with NHSE to collate and share information on the pipeline for consultant roles, identifying any shortfall in filling consultant roles by mental health specialities junior doctor in training posts

· Work with NHSE to collate and share information on number an fill rate for resident doctors

· Identify the range of agency rates being paid by CSG partner organisations, recommending a way forwardto reduce variation. The recommendations should take into account the labour market conditions for the different mental health specialties.

· Identify the range of bank rates being paid by CSG partners organisations, recommending a way forward toreduce variation. The recommendations should take into account the London medical bank rates and whether it is appropriate to use specialist rates in mental health organisations.

Oxleas offers a wide range of NHS healthcare services to people in community and secure environment settings.
